Slashfic-athon

I wrote the first 500 or so words of my slashficathon story but I'm not happy with what I wrote. There's no UST. Not for five cents. And somehow Buffy crept into the equation. Character A mopes about her and isn't remotely interested in character B. Darn! *growls* And I thought the pairing was easy. Character A is just so stubborn....

[livejournal.com profile] mikelesq is working on a Firefly fic. Yay. He hasn't posted yet, but it looks like it's going to be fun.

I wish [livejournal.com profile] eliade would get into a writing groove again. I miss her fic. I like the Sidelines universe, but I enjoyed her off-the-cuff fics and ficlets even more. They were fresher, more immediate and felt as if writing them was more fun than work.
I also miss [livejournal.com profile] wiseacress's h/c series. I feel the need for more S/X. Definitely.
Still want to read S/X, although right now I feel like I'll never want to write them again. Or maybe it's just Xander I don't want to write anymore.

I feel like I'm predominantly seen as a S/X writer, but I want people to read my stories because they're written by me, not because they're S/X.... Sorry if I sound kinda mopey tonight. Maybe I'm just tired.

I wanted to stay up for the Sunday 100, but it's already midnight here in Germany... maybe I should just go to bed. *Yawn*

ETA: The Sunday 100 challenge is posted and it's a freebie. No theme or anything. Hmmm. Oh well, bed. Now.

There are a handful of writers that I adore and you are one of them. I've only ever read your S/X stories but I love them.

I occasionally itch for other pairings and always go into the websites of my favorite authors first to see if they've got what I'm hankering for. Been in and out of your website so often the door needs oiling. :)

BTW if you get an email from me soon asking for your help writing a character for my slashathon thingy, it has NOTHING to with this little sycophantic demonstration, really! ;)

Been in and out of your website so often the door needs oiling. :) Awww, thank you, Snoopygirl. Smoooch.
I feel a bit guilty about my self-indulgent little whine, but sometimes I feel like my non-S/X stories are treated like step-children, when I want all my little brats to be loved equally, you know?

Feel free to email me. Or use AIM. I am online 18 hours per day. Sometimes more. I'll be glad to help.

Hey! I do it all the time. Don't make ME feel bad about it. ;)

I want all my little brats to be loved equally, you know?

*chin wobbles* Yeah, I hear you. You make want to rush out and read them all, the poor neglected darlins.

Feel free to email me. Or use AIM. I am online 18 hours per day. Sometimes more. I'll be glad to help.

*snoopydance* Cool!

I'm not on AIM so I'll have to email you.

It's just that, besides the obvious (your writing rocks) you've written one half of my pair before, and I don't think that many people have. I'll take it as far as I can on my own before I bug you with it so don't expect it for a while, a week maybe.

*big stupid grin* Thanks! Happy now.

Smooch!

Oooh now I'm very very curious. Andrew? Ethan? Lindsey? Wes? Giles?
I never wrote Oz and I only word a Sunday 100 about Riley... Otherwise I think I wrote most of the important males at least once... sorta...
*ponders*
right. I'm intrigued.
