James Marsters sucks!

Well, okay maybe not, but right now I'd really like to give him a stern talking to!
I just found out that he cancelled his FedCon appearance! The only gig he has in Germany this year - and he cancels it. The grapevine has it that a) he has a GotR gig a few days later and therefore doesn't want the stress and b) he doesn't like Germans, anyway.
That sucks!
I paid 120€ for the ticket! And I can't return it. I can try to sell it via ebay, but I'll get a fraction of what I paid for it! *Sob*
In autumn 2001 I booked a flight and a ticket for a freaking event in London, the Forbidden Planet signing, and he frelling cancelled that one, too. I couldn't return the flight ticket, either. (Okay I went anyway and met xanpet2000 face to face, but that's beside the point)

What does a girl have to do to see him, for Christ's sake?!

Movie: Possession

Okay, so I had to watch it in German. *Shrug* I was unimpressed with the movie. I haven't managed to finish the book as my brain was otherwise occupied, but from what I'd read I already knew it would be difficult to make a movie out of it. Some of the ways in which the film condensed certain details were smart, but I felt that all the characters remained strangely vague and diffuse.
All in all the film felt shallow and superficial.
I liked the costumes and the visuals, but somehow the whole thing left me emotionally indifferent.

Not a bad movie, unfortunately not a particularly good one, either.
