Wow, LJ-land sure is busy today.
paratti talks about moral apartheid and the "sex equals evil ergo you die" formula she believes is at the heart of both Buffy and Firefly.

lordshiva talks about Crush and crushes on killers, braving the serial killer analogy and also taking a critical look at how certain fans are prone to palliate Spike's past murders.

And then there's the_resa_ii's first LJ post ever: Band Impressions - Ghost of the Robot. She gives a long and detailed analysis of the gigs in Cologne and Frankfurt, including a report on the Special Audience. I count meeting her as one of the hightlights of the two gigs.

_flaming_june_ sparked off a long thread about the most beautiful words of the English language. She compiled a list of words from that long thread. So many beautiful words...

I was going to write tonight, but instead I ended up reading lots of different posts. Oh well.

Blah day

Okay, yesterday's uncharacteristic bout of house cleaning and laundry folding seems to have been a monthly hormonal thing because today I felt totally blah. I wasted most of the day playing Heroes of Might and Magic (something I do about once a month) and catering to children.
Little one was home most of the day and in the afternoon lots of children came over to play and ended up demanding drinks and snacks all the time... I guess even if I had been in a writing mood it's doubtful I would have been able to concentrate.
The good news is: fasting isn't an extra strain. It's much easier this time round, even cooking for the kid doesn't bother me. Physically I feel fine, it's just my brain that feels dull.
