Hey, the Five Questions meme is back. This time
vamplover84 is the one who's asking. Thank you, dear. :-) So, here goes.
1. Besides Buffy, what is your favorite fandom, and do you have a favorite pairing? Um...
Angel - Angel/Spike? Okay, okay, I know, that's cheating.
Smallville. Clark/Lex
Oh and
Firefly. Jayne/Simon. Or Jayne/Kaylee.
2. Do you share your online interests with friends and family (e.g., say you like slash), or do you play discreetly? My husband reads my het and gen fanfic and will read slash if its wrapped in a m/m/f threesome. My friends all know that I write, most know that I write fanfic, the close ones know I write porn. I am proud of my gay vampire porn, so why should I act all blushy?
3. If you could visit any place in the world on your next vacation, where would you go?Alone or with the family? Or with hubby only?
With the kids I'd either say Tasmania for 4 weeks, visiting my dad, or Italy, the area around Lake Garda. There's a great amusement park there. We'd go there a few times and take boat trips and we'd eat tons of pasta and pizza. The kids would love it.
However, if the trip was for hubby and me without the kids I'd say Rome and Naples - I always wanted to see Pompeji and all the ancient Roman ruins. *sigh*
On my very own? New York and/or Los Angeles.
4. You are having a dinner party and can have the guests of your choice: which six famous people do you invite, dead or alive?Oh, that's a great question. Lemme think...
Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, James Marsters (because he'd love and worship me dearly for the opportunity to talk to the other guests), Kenneth Branagh (who's supposedly an asshole but I like him for his brain), Joss Whedon, Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. Crap, that's seven, right? Okay, if necessary we'll have to ditch Caesar - with his ego it might get a little bit crowded anyway. But can you imagine the conversations?
5. What piece of music can move you to tears (if any)?On its own? Not a single one. I don't tear up easily. I liked the use of Beethoven's Pastoral symphony in 'Soylent Green' and I was quite moved when watching
Smallville 3x08 and hearing Johnny Cash sing
Hurt. *ponders* Nope, not to tears. But the aria of Mozart's Queen of the Night out of the
Magic Flute, played at sufficiently loud volume sents wonderful shivers up and down my spine. Awesome piece of music!
Lovely questions! I enjoyed answering them,
vamplover84. Thank you.
