Our fishies are adorable

This is what Spike and Angel look like. And these are the Scoobies. Such beautiful fishies. Spike and Angel are of course nocturnal little white hats who are just now busily keeping their little universe clean. *sigh*

Writing

Hubby took the kids to the museum, giving me a whole afternoon to write in. Unfortunately my brain was not in the mood today. Progress was slow and now I'm not sure if today's output is any good. *sigh* The chapter seems slow when truly I should try to keep the tension going. Both characters suddenly plunged into a bout of introspection. Normally I favor show don't tell, so whenever I start explaining what goes on inside the characters' heads, I wonder if my readers aren't bored to tears. Maybe sangpassionne can help me with that chunk. She knows where the story is going, her advice is always helpful.
