Actually... I wasn't bored during the concert. It helps to download the songs and listen to them twenty times. Then they slowly move into sing-along territory.
They were better live than on the CDs.
And David Letterman is a nicely cheerful song.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - so if you go with low expectations but a willingness to be pleasantly surprised, then the concert is a good deal. Plus... when will you get another chance to drink in the image of rock star James? He really is very cute on stage.
