I never really got over being a huge Dru/Spike shipper, so i've often wondered that as well. I was always torn between wanting to see it and being afraid they'd have him stake her in the name of his redemption. I don't think I could have handled that. Well, maybe under certain circumstances. Maybe. But it would have had to have been very well done.
