My friend and I rocked. Like a rocking thing. The teacher who'd hired/invited us, was really enthusiastic afterwards. He intends to hire us again. He said it was better than what he'd hoped for, a lot better. The kids got involved, their poetry was so-so with sparks of brilliance and pretty bad English, but everybody wrote at least one haiku and one longer poem. I think they enjoyed it too. It was a Waldorf school, so we didn't charge a lot, but my friend and I are determined to do this sort of thing again - and to charge more, next time. ;-)
I was nervous, but I don't think it showed. *bounce*
I wish I could spend the money on myself, but unfortunately I have to buy groceries with it. Bah. Oh well, maybe I'll buy something nice that I want to eat...
