the court case is a long winded thing. Dad bought a house in Tasmania. One winter there was a lot of rain and the house had excessive water damage because the drainage wasn't functional. Dad was trying to sue the people who brokered the house or who estimated the value of the house because he had assumed the house had proper drainage.... whatever. The house is useless, and my dad spent his last penny sueing for recompense. Don Quichotte-like. He wasted his final years fighting and now he's too broke and too sick to continue and everybody profited: banks, lawyers - except him and his wife. *sigh*
No chances either for him or the law suit. All I can do is sit here and wait for the bad news... can't afford a flight to Australia...
