Crappy day

Sometimes you know right from the start that the day is a crap day even though you don't know why. I just had a call from my dad's wife. Dad has been fighting a court case for 8 years now. Apparently a letter he received this week made him worse and he's back in the nursing home again (for the past months he's been alternating between his home and the nursing home). He's on morphine now. *sigh*

*smooch* Thank you, Petzi. Yeah, you're right, nothing good will come of that law suit. My dad is too stubborn to settle for less than what he wants.... and this isn't like some movie where perseverence wins. *sigh*

The girls don't know their grandfather, they haven't even spoken to him on the phone (he never even suggested talking to them, he just isn't interested in people on a private level. He's totally unable to talk about anything private, everything is business, law suits, etc. Stupid man.)
