Good stuff: breakfast in a quiet cafe; meeting my therapist; scootering home through lovely climate
Bad stuff: mess left by husband this morning; I had my eyebrows done and it looks crappy.
More bad stuff: the kids think that they don't have to tidy up because their mom will do it anyway.
The crux: Oldest daughter does not respect me. Grrrr.

Things to do: teach English to my class of 8-y-olds in less than half an hour (ETA: check); send files to hubby's office to get my handouts for tomorrow photocopied (ETA: check); prep tomorrow's creative writing lesson (ETA: on it); write 2000 words. *bangs head on desk*

Also? Must Not Throttle Family Members.

Bad stuff the first and more bad stuff sound so familiar. Guess it's one of those universal mum things.
Good stuff is good though! Here it's been raining cats and dogs since halfway this morning, just when I had to go out of course. It's still at it and I have to go out again in a bit.

Throttling of family members is allowed as long as it's not actually to death. At least I vote for!

I sympathize with your bad day, and the reasons for it. We have several of them in common, including the eyebrows. And my eleven year old needs to have the phrase, "Oh, you meant now?" removed from her lexicon.
