Giles/Ethan

Ookay, I just checked the statistics of my new Broken English chapter: 2000 words. No wonder it took me such a long time to write it. :-)
Anyway, the chapter is finished now. The question is, do I post it as two chapters? One today, the other during the weekend? I'm not sure how soon I'll be able to write the next chapter, and I don't want to keep you guys waiting. I'm feeling a little guilty already, for leaving you with a cliffhanger like that. So. What should I do?

I have an appointment with my GP this morning, about my thyroid. So, first commenter gets to decide.

BTW, do you ever have "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" kind of nightmares? Where everybody around you becomes "wrong" somehow? I do. About once or twice a year. I wonder why. *shudders*

The nightmare sounds horrid! And I vote for splitting the chapter.

Good luck with your GP.

Yeah, it was a really horrid nightmare. The funny thing is, that it's totally cinematographic, i.e. there are strange camera angles, close-ups of empty faces.... Does that mean I watch too many movies?
Also, this time the nightmare was set in London, and it was in English.

I just came back from my GP. The specialist found out that my thryroid has a slight infection. Whatever that means. In any case, he gave me a prescription...
Tomorrow I start taking pills.

First half of the chapter will be posted within the next half hour. :-)

Thyroid infection? That's a new one on me.

Yeah, sounds weird, huh? Anyway, I now have a prescription for thyroid hormone.

I only saw the doc very briefly. He had lots of patients waiting. However, I am friends with his wife in RL, so I'm sure I'll find an opportunity soon to talk to him about my results in greater detail.

Good, because that sounds very odd. Maybe it's another way of saying you have an underactive thyroid?

Maybe I misheard what he said. It was an en passant consultation, as he was in quite a hurry. I will now more, once I've talked to him again. :-)
