Jim Butcher

Just found this interview with Jim Butcher, the author of the Harry Dresden series.

He seems like a really nice guy. It seems that the second book of the series will be read by James Marsters again. So now I'm hoping the audiobook will be available at Vulkon - that would save me postage and duty. I liked Storm Front a lot. JM really has a nice reading voice.

I love his reading voice. So smooth and sexy and he goes for the "voices". Here's hoping it'll be ready by Vulkon.

I like his musical tastes.

I don't know if that means I'll like his books, but for some reason it helps.

Oh, and his favorite Dean Koonts book is The Watchers! That's my favorite too.

Hah! he's a buffy fan! Knew I'd like him.

(Though to be honest, I see the Dresden Files as a really well-done anime cartoon when picturing them in my mind. I have the whole opening title sequence done in my head, but since I can't draw a stick man without using tracing paper, I doubt I'll ever get to really see it.)

BWAHAHAHAHAHAA! That would be a perfect anime storyline. I'd love to watch it. Then JM could do the voice-actng for that, too.

Hm... Will Smith of James Marsters? Tough choice, as I think they'd both be charming. But I'll go with JM, celebrity loyalty and all.
