Just found out that there is such a thing as a 'Professionals' Bodie/Doyle AU slash fanfic in which Bodie is a surgeon and Doyle is an artist. I don't know why I'm surprised. It seems a weird choice. Slash I can accept but the AU kind of weirds me out. Let's just say that's not a scenario that instantly pops into my mind when someone uses the words 'fanfic' and 'The Professionals' in one and the same sentens. ;-)

...are a specialty of Professionals fanfic. My friend Kathy, who is a Professionals fans at old, tells me they've been insanely popular (though not with her). You get all combinations from Bodie and Doyle in Regency London (Bodie is a Lord, Doyle works in a male brothel) to stuff where Doyle is an elf. Don't ask me what any of this has to do with the original source...
