Four-year old for sale!

How much? *winks*

4 year olds can be such an acme disaster. It often makes me wonder why they are not used in tactical assaults.

Oh my God. I always thought that the ultimate fighting force would be a few thousand women either PMS-ing or perimenopausal. But...a brigade of grumpy 4 year olds. Wow.

Pack her up and ship her to Aunt Caille for a few weeks, Estepheia. I'll try not to send her back speaking German with a California accent.

I'd love to, Aunt Caille. She's usually well-behaved with other people. Alas, plane ticktets? A bit expensive. ;-)

Quick, get that idea patented.
I fled last night, deserting the family troops in a hurry to go to see two movies. But boy, was I stressed. She really was very naughty and clingy....
But you made me laugh, and that always helps. Thanks.

Awwwwwwwwww *hugs* I know the feeling!

My two were little shits last night, purely because their dad wasn't here. They repeatedly refused to go to bed and when they finally did, they wouldn't quit shouting to each other. I lost count the amount of trips to the bathroom etc they had.

Try advertising on ebay ;o) Hubby listed me on there once. Hmph.

[identity profile] estepheia.livejournal.com 2003-12-17 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Hubby listed me on there once.
You're kidding? Good lord.
Anyway, you made me laugh at a time when laughing was the last line of defense. Thanks.
Today I don't feel like selling her because hubby let me sleep in and herded them off to school and kindergarten on his own - and quietly.

I kid you not. If only I'd made a screen shot of it...

Anyway, you made me laugh at a time when laughing was the last line of defense. Thanks.

You're quite welcome. Glad to have helped.

And now I'm off to drop off my younger headache to Grandma's and take the other headache to see Return of the King. :o)

Would be willing to trade for a five week old who NEVER EVER takes a nap...

[identity profile] estepheia.livejournal.com 2003-12-17 12:55 am (UTC)(link)
Um, no thanks, been there, done that. *hug*
NEVER is not a lot. Mine always fell asleep during breastfeeding, looking utterly happy and content.

[identity profile] spicklething.livejournal.com 2003-12-17 08:29 am (UTC)(link)
Oh she does that, complete with a little sigh of contentment. But the moment I set her down to actually sleep, I get two giant eyes staring back at me.

It's so nice to be speaking from the other side of things. I do remember when my kids were 4 years old. They are now 21 and 24 1/2. (Note that they made it past the 4 year old stage)

Selling them doesn't work nor does giving them away. They always come back, like the proverbial cat.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS and may the next few hours be better for you and the little one

Thank you!

I gave mine away for the afternoon and had a really nice day today. But I'm majorly glad I got them back. :-)
The little one was cute like a sugar plum today. She promised to be good because she's worried Santa might not bring anything. She's making a genuine effort, which is saying something, because Toyah has a lot of inertia, she never goes out of her way for anyone unless *she* wants to. :-)

So glad that the day went better for you - and what little kid won't at least TRY to be good for goodness sake!

Those things are worse than Suvolte demons. Be careful, or a government hit team will be calling you "Doctor".

When mine were that age, I used to say that I'd thought about selling them to the gypsies, but had been unable to locate a band of gypsies against whom I held a sufficient grudge.

[identity profile] estepheia.livejournal.com 2003-12-17 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
LOL. That's a great line. Thanks.

I'll swap you for a three year old who's currently running around in a raincoat and gloves. - Nothing else...just a raincoat and gloves!

[identity profile] estepheia.livejournal.com 2003-12-17 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
Um.... okay.... not thanks.
Thanks for putting things into perspective. :-)
