(no subject)

I wonder what would happen if I ate 20 tablets of St. John's Wort.

You'd probably self-combust when going out into the sunshine!

Sounds like a plan.

You would start by throwing up a lot, I imagine, then there would be the sunburn from stepping outside for 10 seconds.

I doubt it would cheer you up.

*sigh*
Probably not.

I think if you take enough you actually get a personal visit from St. John.

That may have just been me, though.

Maybe chocolate would be safer?

Chocolate? Not my thing.
Instead of dinner I had tons of tortilla chips and a stracciatella ice cream, those normally cheer me up. No such luck today. *sigh*
But thanks.

Err, I had to look this up, and this is the first site Google lists. Interesting...;-)

St. John's Wort = Johanniskraut.
If I forget to take it for a while I get cranky. *sigh*
depression sucks.

Oooh! Thanks.

It's that bad?::hugs::

And did you see the 'alternatives' they discuss on that site?

[identity profile] estepheia.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. I saw.
The real bother is... when it's bad you don't bother to do anything about it. You need someone to actually make you.
Usually it doesn't last long.

{{hug}} I know. It's a good idea to have someone with actual working motivation check in with you every so often, just in case it lasts longer than usual.

Ah depression. Welcome to the club!

I can understand what you must go through. I've been a sufferer for, well it seems like since I was a small child. At the moment mines pretty bad too, although having no work doesn't exactually help.

Stick on in there luv *hugs*
