Two breakfast drabbles

Okay, I admit it, these are not my finest drabbles ever, but I felt like doing something schmoopy, and besides, maybe these will help me sidestep my horrid writer's block....

Breakfast I
Anya/Xander - R - pre-Hells Bells

There are two perfect ways of waking up: A trail of soft, tender kisses leading from the nape of her neck across the shoulder blades and down her spine, acting as an overture to immideate passionate and inventive love making; or the whisking sound of eggs being beaten in a bowl, and the smell of fresh coffee seeping into the bedroom.

Nothing says "I love you" quite the same way like a slightly burnt omelette served in bed. Except maybe the languid jam-and-butter flavored kisses afterwards and Xander’s skilled tongue eating her out for dessert.

Anya loves breakfast in bed.

"Pass the burba, mate?"

Salt, pepper... there. Leaning forward, Xander picked up the burba shaker, causing the tray between them to tilt precariously. Anya’s hand shot out to keep it even. Crumbs were one thing, coffee and blood stains on the brand new satin sheets quite another.

"Any French toast left?" Xander mumbled, his mouth full.

"Bread pudding! Nothin‘ French about it." Came the indignant reply, but the half-naked vampire handed him the dish.

Amazing, how with a little good will and a lot of bickering a regular sized double bed could be turned into a breakfast buffet for three.

Heee. Glad you like your drabble. I haven't had an idea for a Pandoraverse one. Yet. Maybe tomorrow. :-)
