Help?

Two years ago, when I was in Tampa, I spotted something at a Barnes & Noble: poetry magnets for the fridge. White, square magnets with different words on them. Was that just a passing fashion or are those things a common enough thing to buy. I am thinking that these magnet-words might be useful for my English classes, so they can move words around and form sentences, but I'm not sure if this one application warrants spending money on such a magnet set. How many words are there in a set? How much are they?
Or maybe you have another suggestions? Cheap suggestions?
I have a magnetized board on which to stick the words....

I used to have those, and it was quite frustrating looking for the words I wanted.

You can buy blank sheets of the magnet board and write your own words on it ... it's easy to cut with scissors and may be cheaper than the pre-printed ones.
