Amango (like netflix) finally sent us Der Untergang (which I ordered, among other things, because of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
selenak's review), and for several weeks hubby and I didn't muster the courage to actually watch it. Today we did, and now I feel utterly numb. Just when you think the insanity has reached the absolute zenith, you're proven wrong. The way the Nazis faced the end was so utterly bizarre... I was reminded of the Masks of the Red Death, only this was far far worse, and far more insane. What could possibly inspire this lunatic kind of faith? Words fail me.
The movie should be compulsory viewing.
