I think the little one needs spectacles. She has a tendency to bump into things or trip over her own feet. She used to be good at climbing, so I never really noticed, but lately it's become more pronounced. I really hope she hasn't inherited my eyes, poor little lamb. (A curvature of the cornea thing)

Viktoria has been accident prone all her life - to an extent that we sometimes think of her as our little Jinx. Once, in a fit of rage, she threw herself on the floor, but forgot to take her bottle out of her mouth first - hence chipped front teeth and one teeth that turned 180 degrees (i.e. is backwards - very weird).

A few weeks ago she nose-dived off her tricycle because her well-meaning sister pushed her too fast. Now her cute little nose is scarred. She has a scar on our forehead, from one of her falls.

Here in Germany it is recommended that parents take their kids to regular health check ups at regular intervals. They are fully paid, all children's health care is provided for, even nose-drops are free. We've taken her regularly, but we never discovered eyesight problems. Oh well, she has a doctor's appointment for next week. I'm also worried about the way she walks, with her big toes pointing inwards. *Sigh*

Fortunately big sis is doing fine. She even got praise from the dentist for her good teeth. Considering how incredibly aggravating it is to get her to brush them (she does it, but only after serious procrastination) I'm pleased that there is at least some pay-off.

Tina has a new playstation game, a Barbie jump and run in the Tomb Rainder vein - so now she wants to play ALL the time. We borrowed Shrek from friends and she totally loves that movie. She is doing fine in every way, just gets a bit hyper when she has a friend over to visit, showing off all the time. She so needs to go to school. She is severly under-challenged.

A few months ago, after our washing machine broke down and we bought a new one, Mr. Estepheia endeavoured to understand the mysteries of laundry. For three months he constantly went into the cellar to hang up washing or sort laundry into the machine. He even discussed laundry with his (female) online friends. He is now officially cured and back to his normal self, which I find sad but reassuring. Meaning we have tons of unfolded laundry taking over our living room. So today I will throw a DVD in and work my way through the whole lot.

Last night we had a fantasy role-playing session. Our friends have a tendency to bring snacks along. They even bring stuff I like. Which is nice but mean, since I really want to cut down on fat stuff like evil Tortilla Chips for which I could die for... Our friends are eeeevil.

I still seem to be losing weight very slowly. I no longer take sugar in my tea or coffee, drink more mineral water (bleagh) and I have completely gone without stuff like Salami. I'm feeling very virtuous and not stressed like I thought I might. Let's see how long this lasts.
