That was Fun!
Nov. 26th, 2002 01:53 amI just read and well, sort of betaed
mikelesq's latest story "Half a Legue Onward". I think
abbylee would agree that Mike has a great talent at tying up loose ends while staying within canon. (Sometimes I think Mike is Joss Whedon in disguise, because his stories really feel like missing episodes.)
This story is a fine example. It has a clever plot. It also has some very funny lines, good character voices, a few surprising twists and an interesting cast. But how do I summarize this? The trouble is, I don't really want to give too much away, it would spoil the surprise...
The story is set 4 weeks before 7x01 "Lessons" - Halfrek enlists Xander's help in a mission that takes both into the basement of the former High School.
