I feel so stupid

Man, I'm frustrated. For days I've been wrestling with the latest chapter of Perdition. I think I want too many things at the same time and I want to do them obliquely in a "don't hit the reader over the head with it" manner. Pretty ambitious, huh? Yesterday I spent over an hour chatting with Mikelesq via Instant Messenger, but I found it impossible to express what I wanted to do. I'm not sure if that means I am myself too unclear about what I'm doing and where I'm heading or whether I have reached a stage where analysing the whole thing would be about 4 times as long as the actual story is supposed to be. *sigh*

Maybe it's the cold that's making me feel stupid.
At least one thing is good. According to Tensai (the Spoiler Slayer) a new episode of Buffy will air December 17th: "Bring on the Night." So, we don't have to wait till mid-January. *Sigh of relief*
