Stuck again.
Feb. 12th, 2003 03:26 pmGod I hate being stuck when writing.
I have four stories/chapters that I would like to get out soon, but my brain feels utterly dumb.
The opening of the new chapter of Things Present - Things Past is written. Now it's time for the big action scene. Alas, I'm stuck Too many protagonists, I guess.
Perdition - Stuck. I wrote a bit of dialogue, made up my mind about what's supposed to happen with reagard to the main arc, but somehow I don't know how to get from here to there. The tranisitions in that story are always difficult.
Useful Commodities - A little Spike/Anya friendship story: stuck. I sent it to Mikelesq to read and he made several comments regarding characterization that I don't want to disregard.
Bad Seed, my Faith/Cordy/Lilah fic I haven't even dared look at, because I got so thoroughly jossed by the series. Being jossed isn't bad per se - there's nothing wrong with writing AU - but in this instance I feel strangely discouraged.
I also have little S/X snippets and bunnies bouncing around in my head, but yesterday and today I haven't really managed to get anything done. *Sigh*
And now I'd really like to take a little nap. I have to take the little daughter to gym class though, so no such luxury for me today.
Oh well.
