Today I discovered why I don't read books anymore. I'm trying to read The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold, one of my favourite authors. It's a strain on the eyes. I have very bad eyesight and reading printed books is strenuous. I know there are large print versions of some books, but not necessarily of the books I want to read - and those editions are usually more difficult to get hold of in Germany.
It's a good book, btw, the exposition is a bit slow, but I enjoy it nonetheless. The hero is broken in spirit and body, which makes it interesting. I like all her books, even the weak ones are at least average.
