Faith and the Mayor

I feel vain, self-indulgent and petty. To all those who squeed at seeing FE posing as the Mayor I'd like to point out that I did it first. Written before Christmas, Wheel of Fire was my jossed attempt at Faith/Cordy/Lilah femslash - jossed by the fact that Cordelia turned out to be evil. And yes, the Mayor appears to Faith. And Faith has Slayer dreams. How is that! (Because can anyone explain to me why Buffy had them and Faith didn't? Has anyone understood that blah blah about the Slayer line several episodes ago?). Just saying.

And while I'm bitching: Why did Joyce appear to Dawn? Was that FE? Why did Joyce appear in Buffy's dream? Why are so many SiTs still alive but no Watchers? Why did Caleb brag to Buffy that he has something of hers? Why is a Greek inscription in a monastery supposed to be 'ancient' - looked damn new to me. And why keep a stupid inscription in a monastery in the first place? And why does nobody catch on to the fact that the bringers are a hive mind - so all the other bringers will know if one of their lot is captured and interrogated? Why didn't anyone say, 'Nice trap, but we're not biting'? What happened to everybody's brains? Who told everybody in Sunnydale to get out? Oh and btw, who devours what? From beneath you it devours? Not very devour-y so far. *Whine*
