porn kerfuffle

Re the porn kerfuffle:
a) had my first sexual encounter when 14 - and still think it was a very very bad mistake, one I might not have made if I had had access to the internet and erotica/porn.
b) The silly thing is that at 14 I was not allowed to read about things I'd already done.

I tend to think that reading erotica doesn't turn children into wanton sex-monsters. The possibility of experiencing sex vicariously takes away some of the pressure of actually doing it... *shrug*
But I do think that kiddies who read my porn shouldn't boast about it...
Besides, I find violence as shown on TV much more disturbing than erotica.

GotR in Frankfurt and Köln

I'm sitting here, all twitchy, hoping I can pick up a ride for tomorrow, because then I can see (and listen to) GotR in Köln as well as Frankfurt. I am currently listening to a handful of songs I downloaded. It's a kind of warm-up excercise to put me in the right mood, but boy, they really aren't very good. But I've heard worse too.
It feels charmingly earnest and young, but as long as the guys are having fun...
And a club gig with an audience of only 300 fans ought to be cosy. I enjoyed those small gigs when I was still going to every Fish-concert that presented itself.

Nervousness galore

Waaah. My brain is working overtime, plotting more Ethan/Lindsey, when - really - I have no time for them.
I'm also sitting here, still twitchy, waiting for certain emails to come in. I have mailed a few people who are driving to Frankfurt tomorrow, but I haven't had a single reply yet. I hate this. It's actually making me sick in my stomach.
I still need to pack, burn a few VCDs, search frantically for my favorite t-shirt. It's always like that, shortly before leaving I fall into a nervous frenzy.
Waaah.
