Slashfic-athon
Jun. 29th, 2003 11:42 pmI wrote the first 500 or so words of my slashficathon story but I'm not happy with what I wrote. There's no UST. Not for five cents. And somehow Buffy crept into the equation. Character A mopes about her and isn't remotely interested in character B. Darn! *growls* And I thought the pairing was easy. Character A is just so stubborn....
mikelesq is working on a Firefly fic. Yay. He hasn't posted yet, but it looks like it's going to be fun.
I wish
eliade would get into a writing groove again. I miss her fic. I like the Sidelines universe, but I enjoyed her off-the-cuff fics and ficlets even more. They were fresher, more immediate and felt as if writing them was more fun than work.
I also miss
wiseacress's h/c series. I feel the need for more S/X. Definitely.
Still want to read S/X, although right now I feel like I'll never want to write them again. Or maybe it's just Xander I don't want to write anymore.
I feel like I'm predominantly seen as a S/X writer, but I want people to read my stories because they're written by me, not because they're S/X.... Sorry if I sound kinda mopey tonight. Maybe I'm just tired.
I wanted to stay up for the Sunday 100, but it's already midnight here in Germany... maybe I should just go to bed. *Yawn*
ETA: The Sunday 100 challenge is posted and it's a freebie. No theme or anything. Hmmm. Oh well, bed. Now.
