Holy crap, 2460 words - and I'm still not finished. I'm writing Angel/Xander for circe_tigana. It's set after S3 of BtS. Circe expressly requested no Angelus. But I'm afraid my Angel has a lot in common with Angelus. He's in a foul mood... I'm pretty certain this is NOT what Circe had in mind. Sorry Circe.

Slashfic-athon-FIC: In Every Parting

This must be one of the most difficult stories I've ever written! I'm exhausted. And not entirely happy with it. I'm wondering if Angel is maybe out of character, too dark and nasty, but then I remember that Angel is the guy who tried to suffocate Wesley for coming between him and Connor, so maybe it's not. And then I feel I'm not economic enough. One moment I think everybody will find some of the parallels I create blatantly anvil-y and then I think that some things may be too obscure. Ack.

Sometimes I think I should have opted for the easy solution and stuck to Xander's POV, but where would be the challenge in that...
