Tampa Vulkon ROCKED!!!!!!!
I loved it. I got to meet so many great people, I'm still kinda thrown and incredulous. And I'm utterly sad it's over. If only I could bottle the whole experience, and if only I had perfect recall - already some of the details are slipping away. But I'm bookmarking everybody else's reports.
Anyway, it's past 3 am local time - as you can see I've fully adapted to local time - and I should go to bed.
I would write more, but Mike's American keyboard drives me nuts. The 'y' and 'z' are exchanged. Also several other keys are not where they are supposed to be. Therefore I shall type my report when I'm back home. But let it be known:
James Marsters is a friendly, charming, thoughtful and utterly likeable man. He has chemistry with the audience like nobody's business and he has a set of ethics that I find very appealing. Plus pretty. I'm really extremely glad I got to meet him this way.
But, believe it or not, what the con was really about was meeting other writers and fans. Loved it.
