Reason for LJ username: It is an approxiamation of an anagram of my real name, Stephanie; a friend created the name for a matching fantasy alter ego of me for a text he was writing; I liked the name so I made it my internet nick. It's unique, that's what I like about it, even though people occasionally drop a few vowels...
Interesting fact about me: My English teacher in 10th grade told me NOT to pick English as my A-Level subject. She thought my English sucked and gave me a D; I'm interested in ancient and medieval warfare.
Weird fact about me: Other people crave chocolate, I crave raw meat, particularly beef. Dunno why, just do. *shrug* I like raw fish, too.
Favorite characters in fiction (name up to ten): Mark and Miles Vorkosigan, Richard Sharpe, Stephanie Plum, Severus Snape, Sherlock Holmes, Hamlet, Balthasar Matzbach (German amateur sleuth).
