It sucks to be me ...
... when I'm literally abuzz with eagerness to write (C&B, some A/S for kita, and a S/X kissing for the meme)
but my great-auntie is around and wants to be entertained.
You probably know it already, but it can't hurt to pimp some more:
claudia_yvr and I created a community for Spike/Tara stories:
spiketara. A few days ago I posted our first challenge, but this LJ reaches more people, which is why I'm reposting the challenge here. It would be nice if you guys could spread the news a bit...
Challenge #1 - Cats And Dogs
Who? - Spike/Tara (duh) (Romance or friendship)
Set when? - Your pick
To be posted when? - October 24th (yes, that's in one month exactly)
How long? - 500-1000 words (but if you like, you can make it longer)
TITLE: Cats and Dogs - yup, that's your inspiration. Whether we're talking torrential rain, snark, or real animals, well that's up to you. Knock yourselves out.
Other requirements? - none
One more thing: it's totally ok if you put a brief note in the header detailing where your story went AU (if necessary), e.g. 'Tara got turned into a vampire before Entropy.' Then you can spend your words on the actual story, instead of the whole backstory.
