If you haven't readladycat777's adorable gender bender story One, Two, Three, then do so now! It consists of 4 parts already. I like the way this cheerful story mixes comedy, domestic cuteness, love for the characters, and a few sneakily meta observations on gender roles.
Also, it seems there will be another Secret Slasha this year. Yay. I participated last year (trying to write Cordy/Faith but ended up with Angel/Wes) and the year before (when I wrote Angel/Spike). But unless I get my groove back for the still unfinished Back-in-the-Day fic that's languishing on my HD I will not sign up for another fic exchange, as much as it saddens me to let go an opportunity to ask for Spike/Ethan. But if any of you guys feel generous and want to give me fic for Christmas even without my writing one in return (I really have more WIPs than I can chew), I'd very much enjoy Spike/Ethan or Spike/Lilah. :-)
I still haven't received a notification that I have tickets for JM's audience in Berlin. We paid for four tickets (and wow was that expensive), but haven't received a confirmation yet. Um...blondegirlchris, since I haven't been paid for my last translation yet (would you believe that the publisher said they 'forgot'?), and since I had to start buying Christmas prezzies for the kids (buying Lego and Playmo via ebay) I'd like to give the GotR concert in May a miss. I just can't afford another 30 EUR. drcoulter is not interested in the concert, but the_resa_ii might be.

All this is dragging me down and adding to my overall depression - which makes it impossible for me to write. And if I don't write, then I'm not happy. Add to that the news that there won't be any more new Angel epis this year, and my mood really plummets.
