Quick update on the family...
Dec. 18th, 2003 11:07 pmThank you, everybody, for your kind wishes, pep talks, and uplifting comments. *smooch*
Hubby was sick all day, but Tina recovered quickly. I sent her to school this morning, and afterwards she went to the friend who had agreed to look after both. Now I'm fervently hoping that my two kids haven't infected her two kids. *crosses fingers*
So, I was able to go shopping after all. Actually, today was so good, I should be able to clone this day and have one every week. Bought myself new jeans (4 pairs - for less than 50 bucks and they are size 42 - when I normally wear 44 or even 46 - yay!), and lots of prezzies for various people. Also groceries, and other useful stuff. Met a friend in town for lunch, met another one for coffee. Came home (after 7 hours of running around), picked up the kids, made dinner, and then cleaned and tidied up my kitchen (trust me, it's totally uncharacteristic). I feel accomplished, virtuous, awake, happy, bouncy, and I'm working on today's (short - sorry) Advent Calendar chapter. If only I could bottle the hormones responsible. :-)
The only thing that's missing right now is a nice round of rumpy pumpy, but Mr. Estepheia is still out of commission. Too bad.
Oh and good news. Fish is on tour in March and I will go to one of his concerts. Yippie!
It's so nice to have a really good day, every once in a while....
