Sendung mit der Maus - Sushi
Jan. 18th, 2004 03:31 pmI love Sendung mit der Maus - they should sell more compilations in shiny DVD sets. Just saying. Not just for the little films about machines or the production of items like paper clips or how the toothpaste gets into the tube, but also for Kapitän Blaubär. Sendung mit der Maus rocks!
This week's Käptn Blaubär: Hein Blöd talks about how the rats of Calais and the rats of Dover dug a tunnel underneath the Channel to trade carrots against winegummies.
Also, hubby took us all out for shushi. Yummie. Tina (7) likes nigiri sushi with salmon, soy sauce and lots of wasabi, but hates everything that involves seaweed. We didn't give her our tuna pieces because we were selfish. Toyah (4) hates Tepanyaki sauce, but managed to eat her grilled chicken pieces with chopsticks. Both complained that going out for lunch should mean going to an Italian restaurant and eating Spaghetti Carbonara.
The greedy parents ate all the maki pieces from the kids' menue, since the kids didn't want them. Now we're both stuffed. *burps*
