Irish Dance stuff
Dec. 19th, 2004 04:59 pmThe Celtic Christmas event that Hubby's Irish Dance club danced for yesterday was pretty meh, bad sound, and the bands weren't impressive, but the dancers were great. There were a few wrong steps, yeah, but their exuberance and joy of dancing made up for it. They received standing ovations. Admittedly it was only a small event, but still.... Hubby did well too, all things considered (he only started dancing in February).
Today I met the dance instructor and gave her my outline for next year's Christmas play, broken up into scenes, with side-notes about costumes and lighting and sets. She was extremely pleased with my suggestions and is already happily thinking about the choreography. I still have to flesh things out a little, but we're both excited about the project - and apparently we're on the same page. Yay.
I will try to work on my Spangel AU later. *sigh* Time sure flies this month. I still haven't wrapped up my prezzies. I have to write invitations for tina's b-day party, write a few more postcards (which will probably arrive way too late, but I ran out of cards and not many places sell the ones I wanted.)...
I want to write, but I am too restless, too overcome but the sheer bulk of things that need to be done and decided on till Christmas. I hate December.
