Okay, I finished the pervy fic that ate my brain for the past few weeks (and boy, was I surprised at the number of readers), and archived it at my site, so I can work on the next project. I have until tomorrow (shriek) to come up with the fluffyficathon story for [livejournal.com profile] inlovewitnight's Jossverse Valentine fluff thingie. The Wes/Faith I thought I had to write turned into Firefly het. Whoohooo. Aaand I've already been bitten by a bunny, and the bunny started out cute and small but it just assumed the size of an elephant. *groans*

And then I have zillions of other projects. Okay, a dozen or so. *faints*

I just saw that the Firefly fluff isn't due until Monday. Thank god.

I have a new computer, only it's not new but hubby's old laptop. Way less noisy than my own, with a larger HD and faster too. The keys are in the wrong place, especially the ' and the DEL, but I am slowly getting used to it. So yay yay yay. I am so happy, especially since my new compi has no history of inexplicably turning itself off at inopportune moments. YAY! I moved all of my files already, but I haven't quite installed everything I need. And I wish I knew how to turn off that stupid touchpad. Also, does anyone know where I can find new desktop icons, like prettier folder icons and such? I find the normal symbols quite boring...

Our new bed arrived today. Of course we haven't renovated the bedroom yet, but I did finish giving the carpet a proper scubbing and hoovering. The bed is now assembled, but stands in the middle of the room so we can renovate around it. Typical. Not a single room in our house is currently tidy. We keep moving stuff around. We swapped the kids' room with the room my granny used to live in, and hubby moved his office from granny's room into the cellar - but that was before Christmas, and we still haven't stopped moving furniture around. It's driving me batty. We have too many books. I no longer know where to put them.

We were very naughty tonight, we ordered in pizzas and watched HP3 together. The kids didn't really understand the story, but they loved Bugbeak and they love the Whipping Willow. They feel utterly privileged now. They truly love it when all four of us sit on the sofa watching a movie.

*sigh* I feel inexplicably tired. Not enough caffeeine today. Maybe I'll take a little nap now....*yawn*
