Stressed but happy
Mar. 17th, 2005 02:16 pmHappy birthday,
girlwithjournal!
Only two more days until my friend picks me up for our one-week trip to Berlin. Whohoo. Picture me rotating like a ceiling fan. Whoop, whoop, whoop. I have to pack for the whole family, shop groceries for my friend and myself (saves time once we're in Berlin), get the easter decorations out of the cellar so they great us when we come home, prepare exercises for my English pupil (rumour is out that one of her classmates would like to have lessons too. That would be awesome because it would be money without additional prep time), finish my Firefly fic (I made very long winded progress this morning), bake muffins (tomorrow), and find a newvictim happy person to snog over at
big_snog_weekly...
Sounds manageable? Well, it would be. Only this afternoon the kids and I are invited to visit friends whose kid just turned two. So we'll bring gifts and in return will be spoilt rotten with pineapple muffins. YUM! Only that means, no writing time. And I have unwatched epis of House, Medium, and Bilind Justice sitting on my HD... Ack.
Since I am going to be offline for a whole week (*bites nails*), I hope people will tell me if they posted stuff I would want to read. Luckily there's the
su_herald...
Have you noticed how I'm neither depressed nor lethargic? I have been eating my magnesium and St. John's Wort, imbibing lots of caffeine and using my wellness daylight lamp. Seems to be helping. Thank god.
Will now pack all my important books on writing into my Berlin bag. Yay!
Toodles. Whoop, whoop, whoop....
