Happy Birthday - Family stuff - TV stuff

- Happy birthday,
treacle_a! I wish you all the best.
- I revamped and archived chapter 9 of LTAS-V2. I am much happier with the new version. There's not a single paragraph without changes. No wonder it's taking me so long to revamp this.
- Finally started reading Bent Justice. My interest in reading fanfic isn't what it used to be, but this looks very promising. I lurve prison-fics.
Family stuff
- Tina is in second grade, so it's still a little early to decide which school to send her to after 4th grade; on the other hand, these things always seem far off and then they are right in front of you. So, we're looking at schools now. Tina has good grades. She's good at analytical problems, not the best chess player ever, but clever. She likes sports, dances, likes singing and playing the flute (I can't tell if she is good or not, I always hide when she practices). Her English is advanced for her age. She writes cute little stories, likes reading. Basically, she's a little Jack-of-all-trades. I think we'll try to get her into a bilingual school where they teach history, sports, and geography in English language.
- Viktoria is looking forward to going to school. All visitors are shown her new school bag.
- A few days ago, the daughters discussed what would happen if Mr. E and I were to die. Tina promised Viktoria that she'd look after her forever and ever. Viktoria wanted to know if that means she gets all my money, and if they can buy a pony. Heee.
- I forgot to mention that on Tuesday, hubby invited me out for a meal (actually, he didn't have much choice). I had a huuuge steak. Yay. Raw beef never fails to make me happy. The happiness can only be surpassed by obscene amounts of sushi...
TV stuff
- House 1x21 was one of the finest hours of television that I've watched this year. Utterly brilliant. I loved how the lecture theatre gradually filled up... and the way the episode played with reality. Marvellous!
- Am utterly apprehensive with regard to Lost. We haven't watched for a while. 21 and 22 sit on my HD, 23 is downloading. Why am I apprehensive? Because I dread that they'll kill/maim/ruin characters that I care about. So, I find excuses not to watch. How pathetic is that? In case you're wondering who my favourite characters are: Locke, Sawyer, Sayid, Jack, and Kate. Oh, um, I also like Hurly and Shannon. And the Koreans. But I can't stand Michael. At. All. *shudder* Anyway, if you want to comment, please don't spoil me with details, but feel free to reassure me and tell me to watch those epis ASAP... :-)
- I still enjoy Blind Justice. I remember reading a few fanfic in which Spike was blinded by Dru (based on a challenge), and enjoying them a lot. Guess that makes it official: blind is my kink.
Today is lazy!day: Pasta and playstation for the kids. They need at least one day per week where they can just be lazy and hang out. Ideal for me. I could grab my notebook and go downstairs to write. Finally. Yeah, if I weren't too tired. A nap looks positively enticing right now. *yawn*
I think I'll go for a walk, maybe that will help. Or I could work in the garden? Choices, choices...
