Looking for that elusive Joss Whedon guote

I know I asked this before and people helped me out with many great quotes, but I'm still looking for a very particular quote from Joss Whedon. I spent hours skimming interviews and articles but I can't find it. I know I have seen it on an icon, so it's not really very long. It goes something like:
I created the show to create a cult show, I wanted the characters to live in people's lives, blah and I wanted people to write porn....
Okay the wording is not even close to the original. I am not sure but I think the quote is fairly recent. Maybe it's something he said on the audio track of the Angel DVDs? Please, can you try to search your memories? Maybe you too remember that quote-y icon (which is text only).
Please please please.
My mind is so set on this quote, I find it hard to concentrate on anything else...
