Katrina

I can't stop thinking about Katrina and New Orleans, about gun control and the logistics of rescue operations. I watch the news, I read Spiegel.de, read what people on my flist have to say... One might think that the ability to feel shock, and grief, and outrage at such catastrophes might be blunted by now, but the opposite is true. I feel like the world is out of joint.
