This and that / TV

Whohoo, I posted my concrit for indri. One more to go. My second assigned author is germaine_pet. I'm a day late already, bah, but since I received my assignments a few days later than everybody else (because I signed up as a replacement concritter), I feel excused. :-)

I am sill sick, so I'm skipping dance practice. Everybody is practicing for the feis next weekend anyway, so as a beginner I would have had to fend for myself anyway. It was better to just let the others get on with their stuff. I needed the rest and a few quiet hours at home. Talking is bad for my cough. My doc gave me meds yesterday, but unfortunately they make my stomach feel queasy. Swell, it means I get to choose: bad, strenuous cough that gives me headaches and a stiff neck VS upset stomach. Bleagh.

Is it just me or was Supernatural 1.02 a little weaker than the pilot? Still, the boys are eye candy. I will download the next few epis and see what happens. Bones 1.02 was good. It's nice to see DB again, and the support cast is interesting. Will watch. House 2.02 was great. Haven't seen the new Lost yet. So don't spoil me.
Is it true that Threshold is crap? Did I miss any new good shows?
Hands up who else on my flist can't wait to see the new season of Veronica Mars? Oh, and can anyone point me to a good VM slash archive? *makes puppy eyes*

Our fishies...

Crap. One of our fish looks like it's about to expire. Tina has been wailing non-stop for the past hour. *sigh* It's sitting on the ground, tail upwards, panting, and not moving. Not eating. Can't see any injuries or parasites. I've been asking hubby for months that he should get the water tested (our plants look too brownish), but hubby is stubborn. Grrrr. The fish shop is on the way to the office. I've also told him for at least 4 weeks that the fishies need either live food or frozen food - they can't live on that dry stuff. They need a healthy diet, but no, hubby never got any, even though he passes the shop 4 times a day. Grrrrrr. I know he's trying to save money wherever he can, but there should be enough to buy decent fish food, you know?
*sigh*
ETA: RIP, poor fishy. *sigh*
I dread tomorrow morning when Tina finds out that it's dead. We had one casualty shortly after we got our fish tank and that was a huge tragedy. I remember how unhappy I was whenever one of my budgies or hamsters died...
