A good post-Destiny S/X would involve both getting plastered in a kind of wake for those who didn't make it, talking nicely about Anya, Spike bitching about Angel and of course enquiring about Buffy, Dawn, and Willow (doesn't have to be written in detail, but we should know that Spike cares - something he hasn't shown on the show, which I find neglectful) - generally they'd catch up, feel like veterans who survived the war and there'd be a sense of putting things to rest.
Spike would still be very touchy feely, because he enjoys the fact that he can touch and eat and drink.
Doesn't have to lead to slash. I'd be perfectly happy with a buddy fic that has a light slashy subtext. :-)
