So far we have watched the pilot and 4 episodes. The pilot is full of exposition and I don't find the leading actress particularly good, but she's not bad either. Her body language is good, her facial repertoire is a bit... lacking.
I like the setting. It's a clever show with attractive actors and more than decent writing. Nowhere near as good as Firefly, but better than stuff like John Doe. I like it, I'm actually looking forward to watching another epi tonight, but I wouldn't buy the set. I doubt I'll watch any of the epis twice. I watched S5 of Angel about 5 times, so you see, Dark Angel is not in the same class. But so far I think it's worth renting. :-)
