Veronica Mars

Here's what I think
The Good:
- the fight between Logan and Duncan (way overdue)
- the patching-up scene afterwards
- "oh sorry, did that sting?" (Whoa! JD really does 'broken and fucked-up' well.)
- Veronica getting back into snooping (IMHO she's a born detective; snooping's her element)
- Veronica's bitchiness towards Wallace's new flame (and the way V. does not find the right way to steer him away from her)
- Keith Mars - King Kong - priceless
- Lamb putting clamps on Keith's car
- the rising level of distrust/dishonesty
- Charisma Carpenter (her character is a bimbo, but CC looks stunning)
- the teacher who won't dump his stock on someone else
- Mac!!!
- Veronica tackling Julie
The Bad:
- the scene with Meg's parents. WTF?
- Duncan and Veronica holding hands and being all romantically couple-y. I gotta say I share Logan's disgust at the way they flaunt their newfound bliss.
- the Casablancas (the entire family is revolting - and boring)
- the scene with Weevil? Felt off. And what's up with that informant? This bit seems awfully contrived.
- the 'long haul' connection and the discovery of Moran's identity - contrived.
- Wallace's new flame. God I hate her!
The Ugly:
- Veronica's clothes. That blouse-plus-green-thingie ensemble has to go
- Veronica's hair - belongs in a pony tail!
All in all, the two episodes were better than the first two, now that most of the exposition is out of the way. I am still annoyed about the way Logan was rewound to class-jackass/psycho of S1 epi 1. I want to see what happens when Logan actively strives for something. I don't think he's dumb, but he sure acts dumb. *sigh* I guess compared to Veronica's extreme efficiency everyone else looks like a slacker, Logan more so.
