I don't think Logan looks dumb. To me, it's obviously he's very smart. But he's been through more in a year than a person should have to go through in a lifetime. He's regressed to what he's comfortable with and where he feels safe - in his snark, in his attitude. He pushes people away because it's easier. Besides, what choice does he have...the two people closest to him have turned their backs on him.
