Depressing? Does that mean there's no happy ending? Meep! I know that the protagonist investigates his wife's death, which is not a merry plot, but I'd hoped that the ending would be at least hopeful...
As for the prompt. I'll gladly read whatever Firefly fic you come up with. I loooove h/c fics, and I love the Jayne/Simon pairing best, but I know that the muse is often fickle. If my request fires up your imagination, that's great, but don't feel pressured... I loved Glass Walls, I read it at least 5 times. I'll gladly read it again. :-)
