I like both pairings. I've written several Spike/Anya fics and find them easy to write, but Jayne/River feels more transgressive and intriguing. I have an equality kink, I like it if the characters have to negotiate the terms of their tryst. Jayne and River are both strong in their own way, that's what makes the pairing interesting.
Hubby seems to be leaning towards Jayne/River... :-)
