Yes, I think it's been a great season, very few meh epis. There have been a handful episodes over the years, which I didn't find terribly convincing, but this season has been a delight. I love how Donna embraces novelty and wonder. She has the same hunger for the wonders of the universe that the Doctor has, only the Doctor has already seen so much... Through her, it's like seeing them for the first time again.
They are really great together. I liked Rose, I liked Martha, but Donna I truly adore.
I just started watching the Sarah Jane series, and I like it. RTD is right up there in the TV olymp, right next to Joss. :-)
