QAF, real life stuff...

I now own VCDs of the first 10 episodes of QAF (US). Mr Estepheia has been busy downloading them for me... actually I should say 'us', because Mr Estepheia is watching them with me. We already watched the first two episodes.
About a year ago I watched those episodes in very bad quality on my computer. I remember thinking that Justin would soon disappear and that the show would be about Michael and Brian getting together. Ho boy, was I ever wrong.

Very interesting is the superhero theme. eliade talked about that in her LJ a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly she claimed that Brian slowly gravitates into the hero role, thus being the first gay (super)hero.

Had a busy and slightly off-kilter day today which only improved when Mr Estepheia started fussing over me and pouring lots of ice tea and water down my throat. He maintains I should drink more and he's right but I'm just never thirsty.

It seems some of my old German role-gaming magazines will fetch quite a price on ebay, so I today I dug them up. Tomorrow or Saturday I will put them up for auction. I hope to make 300+ bucks with the whole lot.

Daughter #1 and I watched the first Harry Potter movie today. The little one was quite impressed and is now a Hermione-fan, because Hermione is a) clever and b) good at magic. I'd been worried she might get scared by the troll or Voldmort and Quinell's demise but she wasn't in the least. She liked the letters a lot. Oh, and when it was over she wanted to watch it again right away. No way. Maybe tomorrow she can watch half. I'd forgotten how long that movie is. I will not let her watch a 147-minute movie every day.

Folded lots of laundry, did groceries shopping, amused daughter, worked on organizing a RPG-convention, prepared ebay auctions, answered a handful of emails, ordered some clothes via mail order, occasionally glanced at friends list.
Did not: translate, work on Perdition or my other WIPs (and am now scared of losing impetus, but there was just no opportunity today) and I did not tidy up my desk.

I feel restless and un-accomplished. *sigh*
Will now chat up Catatonic and warble on about vidding. Hopefully that will cheer me up. - Estepheia out.
