Weekend

My hubby is a treasure. He let me sleep late, woke me up with a cup of coffee and boiled eggs for breakfast. And now he just left with the daughters in tow, heading for the museum, so I can write a bit.
Yesterday he surprised me with a long-stemmed red rose. He doesn't like flowers or any plants that aren't for eating (he's allergic to plant life), so that was quite a concession.
Aren't I a lucky thing. :-)

Pretentious?

Okay, writers, readers, anyone! Does this sound pretentious to you? It's supposed to nutshell the outward difference between S6 and S7 Spike:

This is one of those moments of sharp pain where the Spike of old would have flipped her off, turned on his heel and barged out, duster flapping indignantly, to wash down the sour taste of self-pity and wounded pride with plenty of cheap booze. But his coat is god-knows-where, his pride is tattered beyond repair, it seems, and he’s chained to the basement wall. So he submerges, lets himself sink below the still surface of a dead body with a blank face and limp unclenched hands, and watches, while a pensive Anya gives the sandbag that hangs from the ceiling a lingering pat.

Help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Spike/Anya fic wishlist

I just finished a Spike/Anya friendshippy fic. However, my hubby has been nagging me for a smutty Spike/Anya story. tisashome is seconding that, so I've decided to accept bunnies and wishes for an upcoming Spike/Anya S7 PWP fic.

Tell me what you'd like to happen. Maybe an alternative outcome of their scene in "Sleeper"? Or something set after Spike's been saved out of FE's clutches?
